Osteoporosis Training
Spring Valley offers equipment

populations. Recently Dr. Emkey, one of the nation’s foremost experts
on osteoporosis, hosts a clinic providing information on the progression
of osteoporosis, supplementation and exercise recommendations. Resistance
training has tremendous benefits for people with osteoporosis which
include increased bone density and reduced risk of falling (a main source
of fractures). Spring Valley has a unique hip development machine which
research has shown to be very effective at increasing bone density.
Our personal trainers provide resistance training programs designed
around four things: Age, Gender, Body Type and Goals. You can be sure
your workouts will be both effective and safe. Diabetics and back pain
suffers are also highly encouraged to meet with a trainer. Both conditions
have very unique problems associated with them and need specific exercise
selections and form. You can feel confidant when training with our personal
trainers that you are receiving help from a true fitness professional.
